Man Sentenced to Life Without Parole for 2019 Roswell Murder After Rejected Marriage Proposal

The Roswell Police Department has provided an update on the recent conviction and sentencing related to the 2019 murder of Fabiola Thomas, age 39. Antonio Wilson, age 43, has been found guilty on several charges, including malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault. The incident occurred on June 8, 2019, when Wilson attacked and killed Thomas in her Roswell apartment after she declined to continue their romantic relationship. Wilson had proposed to Thomas after a few dates, but she did not accept.

A Fulton County Jury reached a verdict in just 25 minutes, reflecting the strong evidence and thorough investigation. On July 23, 2024, a Fulton County Judge sentenced Wilson to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
