Dirt Bike Driver Flees Traffic Stop in Bibb County, Captured After Abandoning Bike

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit and K-9 Interdiction Unit deputies recently initiated a traffic stop on the driver of a dirt bike on Triple Hill Drive. Instead of stopping, the driver accelerated away from deputies, ignoring stop signals, and turned down railroad tracks on Broadway. The driver abandoned the Honda at the wood line and began running away. He was quickly taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
