Suspect Arrested June Armed Robbery of Athens Convenience Store

On June 26, 2024, at approximately 3:06 AM, Athens-Clarke County Police Officers responded to a convenience store on South Lumpkin St regarding an armed robbery. ACCPD detectives, assisted by the ACCPD and UGA Police Uniform Patrol units, were able to identify the suspect as 46-year-old Stephen Thomas Howard Jr. of Athens.
