Man Shot and Killed in Old Fourth Ward
On July 23, 2024, at approximately 3:47 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person shot at 480 John Wesley Dobbs Ave. NE in the Old Fourth Ward. Upon arrival, officers found a 33-year-old male with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was in critical condition and despite life-saving efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. The Homicide Unit is investigating the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
