Bibb County Deputies Arrest Teen in Holiday Weekend Stabbing Incident

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputies have apprehended an 18-year-old suspect in connection with a stabbing incident over the holiday weekend. The altercation, which escalated into violence, occurred at a residence on Thomaston Road. According to reports, the homeowner intervened in the dispute and sustained a stab wound to the arm.

The suspect was located and taken into custody without incident at an apartment on Vineville Avenue by deputies from the Special Response Team. Following the arrest, the teen was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.

During the operation, law enforcement recovered a handgun from the room where the suspect had been hiding. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with authorities continuing to gather details surrounding the altercation and the circumstances leading up to the stabbing.
