Conyers Police Seek Public Assistance in Shooting Incident

On July 7, 2024, around midnight, Conyers Police Officers responded to a call about a person shot near Creek Forest Court in the Forest Villas Subdivision. During the investigation, officers determined that one person was shot during an altercation involving several people. The crime scene was processed, and detectives located several shell casings in and around the roadway on Creek Forest Court.

The victim, a 23-year-old resident of Conyers, was treated and released from the hospital. The suspects in this case are still at large. Detectives are requesting assistance from the public regarding this incident. The department is offering a $5,000 reward for any information that leads to the identification and/or arrest of the suspects responsible for the shooting.
