Juvenile Arrested After Gunshots Damage Tifton Residence
On June 28, 2024, at approximately 03:41 a.m., the Tifton Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 300 block of South Park Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found that multiple gunshots had struck a residence, resulting in property damage.
TPD Investigators promptly initiated an investigation into the incident. Shortly thereafter, a 15-year-old juvenile from Tifton was apprehended and taken into custody. The juvenile faces several charges including Aggravated Assault, Criminal Damage to Property, Participation in Criminal Street Gang Activity, Possession of a Firearm by a Minor, Cruelty to Children, Possession of a Firearm during a Crime, and Discharging a Firearm near a Highway/Street.
