Roommate Altercation Leads to Stabbing in Southwest Atlanta
On July 1, 2024, at approximately 6:54 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 4 officers responded to a report of a person stabbed at 2909 Campbellton Rd. in Southwest Atlanta.
Upon arriving, officers found a 39-year-old male victim with a stab wound. The victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Officers detained a possible suspect at the scene.
Preliminary investigation indicates an altercation between roommates escalated, resulting in the stabbing. Investigators from the Domestic Violence Unit are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
