Bibb County Gang Unit Arrest Two Suspects in Stolen Vehicle Incident

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Gang Unit investigators apprehended two suspects in a stolen Honda Accord on Pio Nono Avenue in Macon. Deputies, acting on information, located the vehicle at a gas station and quickly surrounded it.

The driver, upon realizing the presence of law enforcement and unable to drive off, attempted to flee on foot. Several deputies gave chase and successfully apprehended him after a brief pursuit. Meanwhile, the passenger, who exited the vehicle, was promptly detained at gunpoint by one of the deputies.

A subsequent search of the stolen Honda revealed alarming items: a loaded firearm, ski masks, rubber gloves, and a burglary tool, raising concerns about possible criminal intentions. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Annex for processing.
