Woman Injured in Shooting at 26th Street in Atlanta

On June 27, 2022, at approximately 10:22 PM, Atlanta Police officers responded to a reported shooting at 149 26th Street in the Ardmore area. Upon arrival, they found a female victim with a graze wound to her arm. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an argument with a female suspect, a former acquaintance. The dispute escalated to gunfire in the parking lot of the establishment. The suspect fled the scene before police arrived.

Investigators are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
