Armed Robbery at Family Dollar on Bloomfield Road

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Family Dollar located at 4925 Bloomfield Road in Macon. The incident took place just before 10:00 a.m. on Monday (June 24th).

A male suspect entered the store brandishing a firearm and demanded money from the store clerk. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as wearing all dark clothing and a mask.
