Rockdale County Murderer Captured in New York

On May 13, 2023, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) Criminal Investigations Division was called to respond to a shooting incident in Conyers, GA, at the Fountain Crest subdivision. Following a detailed investigation, multiple suspects were identified in connection with the incident. Among them was Ryan Mulqueen, originally from New York.

Authorities located and apprehended Mulqueen shortly after the shooting in New York. After legal proceedings, he was extradited to Rockdale County, GA, and transferred to the Rockdale County Jail on June 6, 2024.

Malqueen is charged with Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, Home Invasion, Felony Murder and Malice Murder.
