Atlanta Police Investigate Shooting of Woman Intervening in Juvenile Fight
On June 9, 2024, at around 10:41 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 1 Officers were called to 3021 Middleton Rd NW following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found a 50-year-old woman with gunshot wounds. She was taken to a nearby hospital by EMS in stable condition. Initial findings indicate that she was shot while trying to break up a fight among young people. Investigators are looking into the incident further.
