Gwinnett Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Lilburn Subdivision

The Gwinnett Police Department is actively investigating a shooting incident that resulted in the death of a young man in an unincorporated Lilburn subdivision.

On June 1, around 11:30 pm, multiple callers reported hearing gunshots and cries for help in the vicinity of Gwens Trail. Upon arrival at the scene, law enforcement officers discovered the lifeless body of a male in his twenties. The victim had sustained an apparent gunshot wound and was found in the 3000 block of Betty Jean Court.

Little information is available about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the shooting at this time.
