Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Hosts Free P.A.L. Basketball Skills Camp for Youth
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Outreach Section is inviting parents to register their children for the annual free P.A.L. Basketball Skills Camp. The camp aims to foster positive relationships between law enforcement and youth while deterring juvenile crime and violence.
Registration is ongoing at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section Office on 774 Hazel Street from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Children aged nine to 17 are eligible, with registration closing on May 31st.
The camp, open to the first 60 registrants, will run from June 3-7 and June 17-21 at the Rosa Jackson Center, 1211 Maynard St., Macon, GA, from 8 am to 2 pm.
Lunch will be provided, and coaching will be led by Antonio Harris and Doug Robertson, head coaches from Central Georgia Technical and Fort Valley State Universities respectively.
Training will cover offensive and defensive fundamentals, shooting, ball handling, individual moves, proper stance, footwork, and rebounding.
