Two Women Arrested for Felony Shoplifting and Outstanding Warrants in Gwinnett County

Gwinnett County Police Department arrested two women, Demesha Latoya Brown and Angelique Breshawn Reddick-Gautam, on May 8 for felony shoplifting and multiple outstanding warrants.

Officers responded to a shoplifting call at Target in Buford, where the suspects were apprehended.

Brown, 30, from Decatur, and Reddick-Gautam, 30, from Atlanta, were accused of shoplifting on multiple occasions, with six outstanding warrants between them for various offenses. Both were taken to Gwinnett County Police Headquarters for questioning and subsequently to Gwinnett County Jail.

Brown faces charges of Theft by Shoplifting Felony and Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, while Reddick-Gautam faces charges of Criminal Attempt to Commit a Felony, Theft by Shoplifting Felony, and Giving a False Name to Law Enforcement.

Detectives continue to investigate, and additional charges may follow.
