GBI Agents Investigating Death of 14-Year-Old Boy in Pembroke

The Pembroke Police Department has requested the assistance of Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) agents in investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy.

Officers from the Pembroke Police Department responded to a 911 call reporting an unresponsive minor at an apartment in Miller Homes, situated off Dubois Street in Pembroke, GA. Upon arrival, officers discovered the 14-year-old victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

In accordance with protocol, the body will be transported to the GBI Crime Lab where a medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
