Two Suspects Apprehended in Connection with Fatal Shooting on Ralph David Abernathy Blvd

Atlanta Police, in collaboration with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, apprehended 22-year-old Desmond Lindsey on May 1, 2024. Lindsey faces charges of Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

On April 4, 2024, Atlanta Police, with the assistance of the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, detained 21-year-old Terrance Cole, who has been charged with Murder, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.

These arrests follow an incident that occurred on January 2, 2024, at around 2:11 PM, where officers responded to 321 Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard SW after receiving reports of multiple gunshot victims. Upon arrival, officers discovered three individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were conscious and breathing and were taken to the hospital for treatment. The third victim, in critical condition, later succumbed to their injuries.
