Teenager Shot in Carroll Heights Altercation: Suspect at Large
On April 24th, 2024, at around 6:24 PM, Atlanta Police received a call regarding a shooting incident at 3651 Croft Place NW in the Carroll Heights area.
Upon reaching the scene, officers found an 18-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg. Despite his injury, the victim remained conscious and was transported to the hospital for medical attention.
Initial inquiries suggest that the victim was engaged in a verbal altercation with the assailant, which turned violent resulting in gunfire. The suspect fled the area before officers arrived.
The investigation is ongoing.
