Bibb County Sheriff Needs Help in Identifying Armed Robbery Suspect

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a commercial armed robbery. The incident took place on April 24, 2024, shortly after 11:00 p.m., at the Lucky Food Mart on 807 Main Street.

According to reports, a masked individual entered the store and approached the clerk, brandishing a firearm and firing a warning shot. The suspect then took the cash register from behind the counter before fleeing on foot towards Fairview Avenue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a black male with a medium build, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, white sneakers, and a gray face covering. He is estimated to be between 5 foot 10 to 6 feet tall.
