More Warrants Issued Following Big Daddy’s Lounge Shooting
In the aftermath of the shooting incident at Big Daddy’s Lounge on April 13, 2024, the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit has taken further action. The incident, which resulted in four individuals being shot and hospitalized at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital, is believed to have stemmed from a confrontation between two rival gangs outside the club.
Since the incident, several individuals allegedly involved have been identified and charged. Among those charged are Decarlos Walker (25) and Malik Marshall (26), facing multiple counts of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Affray. Additionally, Rasheed Moore (22) and Roderick Antonio Moore Jr (28) are facing charges of Affray.
New warrants were issued on April 16, 2024, for further suspects allegedly involved in the shooting. Donavian Smith (22), Shannon Mclloyd Jr (22), Corey Redding (25), and Johntavious Strum (32) are among those facing charges including Aggravated Assault with a Firearm and Affray.
The investigation is ongoing, with more charges expected to follow as authorities continue to gather evidence and information related to the incident.
