Man Arrested After Threatening Incident at Bagley Middle School in Chatsworth
Earlier today, Bagley Middle School students in Chatsworth reported an alarming incident to their School Resource Officer (SRO). A male individual in a red Dodge truck entered the rear parking lot, yelling threateningly at students before departing. This report was corroborated by an adult vendor present at the school.
As a precaution, all Murray County Schools were placed on lockdown while law enforcement worked to locate the truck and identify the driver. Following an extensive investigation, authorities confirmed the vehicle’s involvement and made contact with the driver’s family to alert surrounding law enforcement agencies.
In a significant development this afternoon around 2:00 p.m., Murray County Sheriff’s Office Investigators apprehended Kevin Oliver Williams, 22, of 343 Rollins Lane, Resaca, Ga., on Hwy. 411 within Gordon County. Williams faces charges of Disruption of Public Schools, with the investigation ongoing.
