Celebrate Earth Day at Amerson River Park

Macon-Bibb County invites everyone to join in the Earth Day Celebration at Amerson River Park this Saturday, April 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Located at 2551 Pierce Dr. N, the event promises a day of fun and education for the whole family.
“We are thrilled to host another exciting Earth Day celebration for our community,” said Sam Kitchens, Co-Chair of the Earth Day Committee. “Amerson River Park provides the perfect setting, allowing people to connect with nature. We welcome families to come and learn together about conservation and protecting our planet for future generations.”
Open to all ages and free to enter, the event will feature live music, educational exhibitors offering giveaways, kids zone activities, a wellness zone, a bicycle raffle, school nutrition displays, and more. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Kids can participate in activities and collect stamps in their Earth Day passports, earning them a free kid’s Earth Day t-shirt upon completion.
Come rain or shine, the Earth Day Celebration promises a day of environmental awareness and enjoyment for everyone.
