Death Investigation Underway After 23-year-old Man Found Shot in East Macon

Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of 23-year-old Brian Rashad Obama, who was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds in the 3000 block of Ruark Circle, East Macon.

The call came in at 4:23 a.m. on Wednesday to the Macon-Bibb Emergency-911 Center. Deputy Coroner Richard Robinson pronounced Obama deceased on the scene.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers.
