Woman Arrested in Cartersville Fatal Stabbing

On Sunday, April 7, 2024, at approximately 10:47 P.M., the Cartersville Police Department responded to a report of a stabbing incident at 35 Collins Place in Cartersville.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim inside the apartment with a stab wound to the neck. The victim was transported to Cartersville Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

In connection with the incident, 30-year-old Tyla Nasha Coleman has been charged with Murder during the Commission of a Felony. Coleman is currently being held at Bartow County Jail pending a bond hearing.
