Police Raid McDonough Residence, Seize Drugs, Weapons, and Make Multiple Arrests

On March 28, 2024, around 10:00 PM, the Henry County Police Special Services Division and Henry County S.W.A.T conducted a search warrant at a residence on Old Griffin Road, McDonough, Georgia. The operation resulted in the seizure of significant quantities of illegal substances and weapons.

Authorities confiscated 39.8 grams of Crack Cocaine, 15.7 ounces of Marijuana, 15.4 grams of Powder Cocaine, 39.7 grams of MDMA, 7 grams of Oxycodone, and 2.4 grams of Adderall from the premises. Additionally, multiple digital scales and packaging materials were found.

The search also uncovered a cache of firearms, including handguns, shotguns, and an AK47-style pistol, along with multiple magazines, a drum magazine, and ammunition. Approximately $17,424.00 in US Currency was seized as well.

Six individuals were arrested during the operation. Charges against them range from Trafficking Cocaine to Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony, Possession/Manufacture of a Controlled Substance within 1,000 feet of a school, and Outstanding Arrest Warrants.
