GBI Investigating Deaths of Two Cordele Residents

At the behest of the Cordele Police Department, agents from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) have initiated an inquiry into the deaths of Christopher King, aged 27, and Ben Foreman, aged 53, both residents of Cordele, GA.

The investigation commenced following an incident on Saturday, March 23, 2024, when the Cordele Police Department received reports of gunfire at the Quickmart Convenience Store situated on West 16th Avenue. Responding swiftly, officers from the Cordele Police, accompanied by Cordele EMS, Georgia State Patrol, and the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, arrived at the scene.

Upon arrival, law enforcement officials discovered the lifeless bodies of King and Foreman in the store’s parking lot.
