Atlanta Police Investigate Shooting Stemming from Dispute Over Female

On the night of March 26, 2024, at approximately 11:26 PM, Atlanta Police officers were called to respond to a shooting incident at the intersection of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Joseph E Lowery Boulevard in the Bankhead area. Upon reaching the location, officers found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services from Grady Memorial Hospital were dispatched to the scene, and the injured male was transported to the hospital for urgent medical attention. Currently, he remains in critical but stable condition.
Initial investigations suggest that the shooting occurred as a result of a dispute between the male victim and another male suspect over a female. Both the suspect and the female fled the scene before the arrival of law enforcement.
The Atlanta Police Department’s investigation into the incident is ongoing, with efforts being made to apprehend the suspect .
