Police Pursuit Ends in Arrests Linked to Vehicle Break-Ins in Crisp County

Warwick Police Department initiated a pursuit on March 18, 2024, after attempting to stop a black Mercedes for speeding. The chase extended into Crisp County, where the suspects abandoned their vehicle in a ditch near HWY 33 and Antioch Road. Four individuals, including a 16-year-old male, two 17-year-old males, and a 19-year-old male, were subsequently taken into custody.

Authorities have linked the vehicle to earlier vehicle break-ins at the Frontage Road Shopping Center. Cordele Police Department is actively investigating these incidents.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in the case, including Crisp County Sheriff’s Office, Warwick Police Department, Turner County Sheriff’s Office, Cordele Police Department, Dooly County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), Georgia State Patrol (GSP), Motor Carrier Compliance Division (MCCD), GSP Aviation, and Georgia Department of Natural Resources-Law Enforcement Division (GA DNR-LED).

The investigation is ongoing, and charges are pending against the individuals involved.
