GBI Arrests Eastman Man for Aggravated Assault and Felony Murder, Suspect is Brother of Victim

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) has arrested and charged Andrew Taylor, aged 27, from Eastman, GA, with one count of aggravated assault and one count of felony murder.

According to reports, on Monday, March 18, 2024, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Dodge County deputies responded to a shooting incident on Wilson Woodard Road in Dodge County. Upon arrival, they discovered Zachary John Taylor, aged 24, also from Eastman, GA, suffering from a single gunshot wound.

Initial findings suggest that Andrew Taylor, who is Zachary Taylor’s brother, allegedly shot Zachary Taylor following a confrontation.

Zachary Taylor was rushed to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
