Aggravated Assault Reported on Northwest Dr NW in Atlanta

In the early hours of March 13, 2024, at approximately 12:48 am, Atlanta Police Officers responded to reports of an aggravated assault at 1600 Northwest Dr. NW. Upon arrival, officers engaged with a male victim who reported an alarming encounter.

The victim recounted that an individual, situated in a white vehicle, discharged a firearm in his direction. Fortunately, the victim escaped unscathed. Initial findings suggest that the victim was accompanied by a female when they were approached by suspects in the said vehicle. Subsequently, one of the suspects disembarked from the vehicle and initiated a confrontation with the victim. Shortly after, the suspect returned to the vehicle and, before departing the scene, fired two shots towards the victim. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.

In the ongoing investigation, law enforcement personnel recovered shell casings from the scene. Authorities are diligently pursuing leads to apprehend the perpetrators. The investigation remains active and is a top priority for law enforcement officials.
