South Fulton Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Remains Found in Woods

The South Fulton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man whose remains were discovered in the woods near Sandtown Center Blvd and Reel Lake Dr.

On December 19, 2023, a surveyor stumbled upon the remains while walking in the vicinity of Sandtown Center Blvd and Reel Lake Dr, close to Camp Creek Pkwy. The duration of time the deceased had been at the location remains unknown, but authorities speculate that he may have been in his twenties.

To aid in the identification process, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, with the assistance of Forensic Artist K. Lawson, has produced a sketch.
