High School Counselor Arrested for Inappropriate Relationship with Students in Carroll County
A 30-year-old Villa Rica High School counselor has been arrested for having sex with a student and engaging in inappropriate relationships with other students. Alonzo Wyatt faces charges of criminal attempt and six counts of improper sexual contact by a school employee.
The Carroll County School District reported the allegations to the Villa Rica Police Department on February 16, 2024. The investigation uncovered that he had sexual contact with a student on several occasions.
Police also learned that he made inappropriate comments, groped, and solicited two additional students for sex during counseling sessions.
The investigation is ongoing.
