Two Injured in Shooting on Atwood St SW

On March 4, 2024, at approximately 12:49 am, Atlanta Police Zone 4 Units responded to a persons shot call at 379 Atwood St SW.
Upon arrival, officers found two adult males with multiple gunshot wounds. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigation suggests the shooting occurred during an altercation involving gunfire exchange between the victim and the suspect.
The suspect has been charged with Home Invasion, three counts of Aggravated Assault, Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and Theft by receiving stolen property.
The Investigation is ongoing.
