Shooting Incident at Coweta County Apartment Complex Under Investigation

Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to Shenandoah Forest Apartments today following reports of a gunshot wound.

Upon arrival, deputies found the victim with a gunshot wound and administered first aid until Coweta County Fire/Rescue arrived. The victim has been transported to an Atlanta area hospital for treatment.

It’s reported that the perpetrator is known to the victim.

Law enforcement has increased presence in the area to locate the suspect. The CCSO Criminal Investigation Unit is actively investigating the incident.
