Fatal Pedestrian Accident on Atlanta’s I-75/85 Northbound I-20 East Ramp Under Investigation

On March 1st, 2024, at approximately 12:22 am, law enforcement officers were called to the scene of a pedestrian accident at the location of the I-75/85 Northbound I-20 East Ramp. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male who had been struck by a vehicle. Grady EMS promptly responded and transported the male to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigations suggest that the male was hit by an unknown vehicle while attempting to cross the I-20 East ramp. The investigation is currently ongoing.
