Woman Injured in Shooting at Donald Lee Holloway Parkway NW

At approximately 1:38AM on February 24th, 2024, police responded to a report of a shooting at Grady Hospital located at 80 Jesse Hill Junior Drive SE. Upon arrival, they found a 34-year-old woman who had transported herself to the hospital after sustaining a gunshot wound to her left buttock.

According to preliminary investigation, the incident occurred at 2507 Donald Lee Holloway Parkway NW, where the victim was involved in a verbal altercation with a known female. The dispute escalated, resulting in gunfire. The suspected shooter fled the scene immediately afterward.

The Aggravated Assault Unit is currently investigating the incident.
