Atlanta Police Investigate Shooting Near Peachtree St. SW
On February 22, 2024, at around 9:07 p.m., Atlanta Police Zone 5 officers responed to 27 Peachtree St. SW following reports of a person shot.
Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim with a gunshot wound. The victim, alert and breathing, was swiftly taken to the hospital by ambulance. He couldn’t offer any details about the shooter or the motive behind the attack.
Investigators from the Aggravated Assault Unit arrived at the scene to piece together what happened.
The investigation is ongoing.
