Bibb County Deputies Apprehend Wanted Suspect After Foot Chase

On Monday, February 19th, 2024, deputies from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit successfully apprehended a wanted suspect after a short pursuit on Hawkinsville Road.

The individual, wanted on a State Court Violation of Probation warrant for charges including Obstruction of Officers and Failure to Maintain Insurance, as well as a Superior Court Violation of Probation warrant related to the original charge of Manufacture of Methamphetamine, was taken into custody without further trouble.

Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Law Enforcement Center.
