19-Year-Old Woman Arrested in Columbus in Connection to Fort Benning Road Murder

On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, the Columbus Georgia Police Department Violent Crimes Unit arrested Trinity Farley, aged 19, on Murder and Armed Robbery warrants.

Farley is the second individual apprehended in connection to the shooting death of William Thomas Brown, aged 39.

The incident occurred on January 8, 2024, on Fort Benning Road. Brown sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Piedmont Columbus Regional, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators suspect the shooting resulted from a failed robbery attempt.

The investigation remains ongoing, with further arrests anticipated.
