Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Aggravated Assault on Houston Avenue

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating an Aggravated Assault incident that took place within the 3400 block of Houston Avenue. The incident was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center at 4:18 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, February 7, 2024.

Upon arrival at the scene, deputies found a twenty-eight-year-old male victim with a gunshot wound. Paramedics provided immediate medical assistance before transporting the victim to a medical facility. Thankfully, no other injuries were reported.

Medical staff have confirmed that the victim is currently in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the incident are still being investigated by authorities.
