Macon-Bibb’s New Library Annex Opens at Macon Mall

Middle Georgia Regional Library (MGRL) has opened its newest branch, the Library Annex, in Macon-Bibb. Located in the Macon Mall facing Mercer University Drive, the Library Annex aims to provide convenient access to library services and materials for the West Bibb community. This branch features three new study rooms and the first public meeting room in the county. Additionally, the Library Annex facilitates the processing of books distributed across seven counties in middle Georgia and throughout the PINES system.

The Grand Opening, held on Wednesday, July 17th, showcased the new facilities. The Library Annex is open from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.

The establishment of the Library Annex was made possible by community partners including Macon Mayor Lester Miller, ICB Construction Group, Macon-Bibb Mayor’s Literacy Alliance, Friends of the Library Macon, and many more.
