Young Woman Missing in Atlanta After Disagreement About Prom

On Sunday night, April 28, 2024, officers responded to a report of a missing person at 5470 Riverdale Rd Apt. U8, Atlanta, GA in Clayton County. Kaitlynn Young, 18, was last seen leaving the residence on foot at 9:00 PM. According to a family member, she left following a disagreement about prom.

Kaitlynn was described as wearing a black shirt, black hoodie, black pants, and black/white Converse shoes at the time of her disappearance. She is a black female, 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 125 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. It was noted that Kaitlynn has been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder.

Despite efforts by officers to locate her in the surrounding area, Kaitlynn remains missing. The Clayton County Police Department urges anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact them at 770-477-3550 EXT 8.
