Georgia Marketing Company Owner Arrested After Clients Report Alleged Credit Card Fraud

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. – A 30-year-old Georgia business owner has been arrested on a financial transaction card fraud charge after investigators say she made unauthorized transactions using a client’s credit card, with additional customers coming forward to report similar allegations.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced that Madison Layton Hollimon, 30, of Lincolnton, was arrested in connection with allegations involving Mad Marketing LLC, a marketing business based in Evans.
According to the GBI, Hollimon owns Mad Marketing LLC and is accused of making several fraudulent transactions on the credit card of one of her clients.
The investigation began July 28, 2026, when the Lincolnton Police Department requested assistance from the GBI regarding an allegation of fraud.
During the investigation, agents learned that other Mad Marketing clients had also come forward with allegations of fraudulent activity.
Authorities have not disclosed how many clients may have been affected, the total amount of money involved or the types of transactions under investigation.
The GBI also has not specified whether the additional allegations will result in further charges.
Hollimon surrendered to authorities Sept. 30, 2026, and was booked into the Columbia County Jail on a charge of financial transaction card fraud.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
