12 Arrested in Major Eatonton Drug Bust Following Months-Long Investigation
EATONTON, Ga. – Twelve people have been arrested following a months-long investigation targeting illegal drug sales and gang activity in Eatonton, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
The investigation began in February 2026 and was led by the Ocmulgee Drug Task Force, the GBI Middle Georgia Gang Task Force and the Eatonton Police Department.
Authorities said the coordinated operation resulted in the arrests of 12 suspects on July 21, all of whom were booked into the Putnam County Jail.
Among those arrested were:
- Ricky Barnes, 35, of Eatonton, charged with three counts of sale of crack cocaine.
- Quindarious Coney, 25, of Eatonton, charged with sale of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and obstruction of law enforcement.
- Savon Crawford, 32, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of marijuana.
- Markel Griffin, 27, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of Ecstasy/MDMA.
- Dramen Humphrey, 19, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of marijuana.
- Moreese Lowe, 40, of Eatonton, charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
- Khalid Mathis, 26, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of marijuana.
- Jaidyen Porter, 19, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of marijuana.
- Donald Reid, 45, of Eatonton, charged with sale of crack cocaine, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute.
- Skylar Sharpe, 26, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of Ecstasy/MDMA, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
- Larry Webb, 75, of Eatonton, charged with sale of marijuana.
- Patrick Wesley, 31, of Eatonton, charged with two counts of sale of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
The GBI said the investigation was conducted to disrupt drug trafficking and gang-related criminal activity in the Eatonton area while improving public safety.
The operation involved assistance from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, Dublin Police Department, Eatonton Police Department, Georgia Department of Community Supervision, Georgia Department of Corrections, Georgia State Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators said the case remains active and additional arrests or charges are possible as the investigation continues.
Once the investigation is complete, the case file will be submitted to the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office for review and prosecution.
