Whitfield County Undercover Operation Leads to Seizure of More Than 1.5 Kilograms of Methamphetamine
WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. – An undercover narcotics investigation has resulted in the arrest of a man after investigators recovered more than 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, according to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office said narcotics detectives concluded the undercover operation on July 7, leading to the arrest of Jerry Bramblett.
During the investigation, detectives reported seeing Bramblett throw multiple containers from the vehicle he was driving as they attempted to make contact with him.
Investigators recovered the discarded containers and found they contained approximately 1,550 grams of methamphetamine.
Bramblett was taken into custody and booked into the Whitfield County Jail.
He is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, and trafficking in methamphetamine.
The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation is part of its ongoing efforts to target narcotics trafficking and drug dealers operating within the county.
