Arrest Made By Atlanta Police in November 2025 Double Shooting That Left Two Dead

ATLANTA, Georgia – Atlanta Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a double fatal shooting that occurred in November 2025 in the city’s Edgewood area.

On March 22, 2026, officers took 35-year-old Marcus Caldwell into custody for his alleged involvement in the shooting at 1572 Hardee Street NE.

Caldwell is charged with two counts of murder, two counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was transported to the DeKalb County Jail for processing.

The charges stem from an incident on November 9, 2025, when Atlanta police officers responded to a report of a person shot around 5:57 p.m. at the same location. Upon arrival, officers found two men deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.

Homicide Unit investigators have been working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting since the incident.

Authorities noted that all arrests are public information and that Caldwell is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.

The investigation remains ongoing.
