Second Suspect Arrested in 2022 Riverbank Apartments Homicide in Macon

MACON, Georgia – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has made a second arrest in connection with a 2022 death investigation at the Riverbank Apartments in Macon.

On March 23, 2026, at approximately 9:00 a.m., investigators with the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division, with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, took 32-year-old Lorenzo Michael Davis into custody at a residence in the 2000 block of Old Clinton Road.

Davis was wanted in connection with the death of Keonta Quintez Rouse, which occurred on May 19, 2022.

He was transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center and charged with murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of certain felonies. Authorities also confirmed Davis had an active warrant for terroristic threats related to a separate case. He is currently being held without bond.

This marks the second arrest in the case. Previously, 27-year-old Brian Christopher Horton Jr. of Macon was arrested on May 26, 2022, and also charged with murder. His case was formally filed following an indictment on February 26, 2025.

Horton’s arraignment hearing is scheduled for March 25, 2026, in Courtroom C under Judge Connie L. Williford.
