Duluth, GA — A woman died Tuesday evening after her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree in Duluth, according to the Duluth Police Department.
Officers responded around 7:09 p.m. on March 3, 2026, to a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Abbotts Bridge Road and Frankie Lane.
Preliminary investigators determined the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Abbotts Bridge Road when it briefly moved toward the center line before suddenly veering to the right.

A witness who was driving behind the vehicle called 911 and remained at the scene until first responders arrived.
Police identified the driver as 62-year-old Bonita Daphne Ingram-Logan.
Officers and emergency medical personnel found Ingram-Logan inside the vehicle unresponsive and not breathing. Despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Duluth Police Department’s Accident Investigation Unit conducted a full investigation.
Based on preliminary findings, investigators believe the driver may have experienced a medical emergency prior to the crash.
