Atlanta Most Wanted Fugitive Captured in 2019 Vehicular Homicide Involving Ambulance Crash
ATLANTA, Georgia – On February 19, 2026, Detective O’Hare, with assistance from the United States Marshals Service, located and apprehended one of Atlanta’s “Most Wanted” Top 10 fugitives, 47-year-old Robert Henderson.

Henderson was wanted in connection with a vehicular homicide that occurred on May 7, 2019, at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Adamsville Place Parkway. During the incident, Henderson struck an emergency medical unit that was actively transporting a patient.
As a result of the crash, the patient inside the ambulance was killed, and medical personnel sustained serious injuries. Henderson fled the scene before police arrived.
The case was investigated by the Atlanta Police Department’s Fugitive Unit, with Detective O’Hare serving as the lead case agent. Through persistent investigative work and the development of multiple leads over several years, authorities were able to narrow in on Henderson’s whereabouts.
Crime Stoppers tips also played a role in the investigation, helping authorities track Henderson’s location. Investigators ultimately executed a search warrant, leading to his arrest.
